I do not have the tools ,neither the hardware to burn the DVD like you explain. I've tried with dvd+r with my laptop...no succcess.

I have a request. Is is possible for you (topic creator) to burn the whole europe on several DVD's and send them to me by post? You name your price.

having read all the above im not able to flash my drive, so i dont think burn the disks will work. unless there is a way round this im using a lite-on ebau108.

Also why do you have to disconnect the battery sometimes?

Disconnect battery for minimum 5 min , resetting satnav.
