Hi all

The tomtom GO 520 that I've been using for years started getting a bit flakey so I purchased another one that appears to be exactly the same, both have a serial number that begins with M2. thought I could take the SD card out of the old one and put it in the replacement unit but it just keeps resetting while trying to boot.

I tried running fast activate but still the same issue.

Is there something else I need to do?

Have a look on the SD card for a file called ttgo.bif > copy that to a safe place then delete it and try again
