Thanx for this map.
It is working great on my navs (edge touring, oregon 600, oregon 700), but 'east' and 'west' map are not showing up in Basecamp.
I can see it loading in Basecamp (red line) and than.... its gone, see printscreen. I use the last version Basecamp 4.7.5.
Also on other USBsticks and also on the nav (connected to the computer), the same problem.
I used my own downloaded maps (lifetime maps Topoactive2025 from the edge touring), same problem.

Any thoughts, help or even the solution?

Thanx, but yes, I did check before (and now again) with JDM.
All three maps viewable in BC and no errors, so I think the solution isnt here....
PS. When a map is 'no visable in BC' (in JDM) it wont show up in BC at all (no red lines as shown above in the printscreen).

The only thing I can see is the file names have been changed ,maybe just unpack them to your SD card as you downloaded them, as they load fine in BC 4.7.5
They come viewable in BC, no need to use JDM.

Downloaded them again end put them on SDcard, same problem.
Uninstalled BC 4.7.5 and installed 4.6.x: That worked!
Uninstalled it and Installed BC 4.7.5: That also worked.

So: problem solved, must be (was) a corrupted item in Basecamp i think.

Lessons learned: Uninstall the software an reinstall it....
Thanx for trying to help, great forum!

eTrex Touch 25/35 | 2140 | 450 | MAP: Yes | GMA: Yes | MSV: Weak | GVS: --- | File:
MSV: Weak - it verifies the validity of map signatures in a simple way, you can unlock an .img using gimgunlock-0.04 (without patching your firmware), but in case of unicode maps (CP65001) you must modify the CP value
Your device can be Patched for Birdseye JNX this one also fixes MSV Weak

Hello, I would like to ask if these are unlocked maps and if they are suitable for Garmin DriveSmart 66?

Thank you and have a nice day.

Yes Unlocked but your DriveSmart 66 is not able to be Patched to use unlocked maps.
These maps are based on Open Source Maps so it might be worth trying.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I tried to upload the maps to my GPS device, but they didn't work. DriveSmart 66 reported that they were damaged.

Interestingly, TopoActive Europe 2024.20 works on DriveSmart 66. The GPS can see them and they can be selected for use.

If I wanted some more up-to-date Topo maps, where could I get them?

Thank you and have a nice day.

Post 1 has the latest TopoActive Maps 2025.10
TopoActive Power Sports might be a better option for an Automotive device
TopoActive PowerSports Maps are a little different than traditional outdoor TopoActive maps.
The Powersports color scheme emphasizes unpaved/dirt roads for off-road activities and is tailored to match the look and feel of the City Navigator maps
Feature colors are also optimized for use with the Automotive map engine and display
Since Powersports is tailored for the Automotive displays, it would not look good on Outdoor/Fitness devices
Coverage for the Powersports maps is exactly the same as standard TopoActive
