TLDR -> 8GB 58LMT, need uk maps, where do i need to put each file and do i need to do anything other than just download and copy to device. TIA

Hi would someone be able to point me to a guide on how i use the files above, I have a Garmin 58LMT that i updated not that long ago and the device is now stating that my maps are not unlocked. I would like the maps for the UK, the device should have had lifetime maps but after the update with Garmin express it now looks like its lost all my maps.

I have an SD card but not sure where to start and where i need to put the files and if i need to do anything before putting them on the sd card to ensure they are unlocked. Also do all the files go on the root of the SD card? p.s. My SATNAV has 5gb of free space so in theory i shouldnt need the sd card? if so where do i put the files. A little lost with all the files to download and where they need to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

is it possible to install these maps on the nuvi 3760 and what files do I need? I am downloading the torrent file. Its my first time working on a garmin device as I am trying to help someone out with new maps as he still is using 2014 maps.

It is most probably safer to just to use an SD card to update the maps.
On a FAT32 formatted SD card 16GB-32Gb create a Garmin and a Map folder and place the files as the image shows below.

Thank you for your fast answer! The Garmin does have an sd card and I followed your instructions. The only thing is that I cant find GMAPDEM.IMG in the download. Do I need this file or it doesnt matter really much?

The DEM digital elevation map was updated recently to v20.24. and as this device seems very out of date I would update it too.

Hi I am trying to get these maps running on a Garmin Dezlcam 785 but despite trying on a Mac and windows computer I am just getting a message saying the files are corrupt after downloading and unpacking then transferring to a 32gb sd card. Obviously this isn't the case as others here seem to have not had any issues. The device is a recent purchase and which is running City Navigator Europe 2025.10 but when connected to Garmin Express I only get the option for a North America map update not Europe hence why I am trying to get this download to a sd card to run on it. I have several Dezl devices and the 2026.20 has thankfully sorted some mapping issues that have been present on the last few updates mainly with bridges and weight limits being incorrectly displayed and effecting the routing. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated as the 785 is my preferred go to device for daily use at work. I have used downloaded maps on Nuvi devices without issue in the past but this is a first with Dezl model so not sure if I'm missing something or simply trying to do something that isn't possible with the Dezlcam??

Unfortunately later devices are not able to use Unlocked maps in the same way as nuvi's etc.

Check in myMaps to see if the current installed maps are City Navigator Europe 2025.10 NTU or NT

Thanks for the reply - in myMaps I have the following CN Europe NTU 2025.10 ALL South, CN Europe NTU 2025.10 ALL North, CN Europe NTU 2025.10 Foursquare and Europe DEM. In Garmin Express under map updates I have the option to install City Navigator North America 2026.10 or under map details reinstall the current Europe 2025.10. Its a Dezlcam 785LMT-D model.
