Magellan Roadmate 1212

Hello

Is there any way I can update the maps on these gps. I know
this is an older gps.

Can someone please direct me on how or should I give up trying too.

I'm guessing you do not have lifetime maps on this device then?

Hi, guess right ,you do not lifetime map.Does PC recognize the Magellan(gps)?Send me a copy of APP from (inside) gps!

Have you tried to install an iGO nav from Navitotal? You should be able to. Then you can update the contents.

No I have not install IGO yet . I was not too sure yet on what files or program I needed to use.
I was wondering if there was a step by step tutorial on how to update this Gps in this
forum. I have updated Garmin gps several times before.

Do you know if my gps ( Magellan Roadmate 1212 ) is supported by IGO? And what version of IGO should I install.

I'm pretty sure you can. Have a look in the iGO section for the different elements.

if your unit has a SD card slot, or microSD slot on it, then putting iGo on the unit will be super easy, and works very well..

I, myself can't stand the crap that Magellan put on mine..

Ok so installed IGO8 on my SD card put the card back in the gps.
Started it and notice no difference at all still old map and menu.

What steps am I missing?:scratch_one-s_head_
