x-970 ViaMichelin / WINDOWS CE CORE 5.0 X11-15302 usa download I NEED THE SOFTWARE FOR THIS UNIT IT READS NO MAP FOUND IN THIS DEVICE I HIT OK AND IT GOES RIGHT BACK TO THE SAME SCREEN THAT THAT SAYS NO MAP FOUND IN THIS DEVICE . WONT DO ANYTHING ELSE I PICKED THIS UP FOR FREE FROM MY SISTER SHE SAID IT WORKED UNTIL HER SON MESSED WITH IT
CAN ANYONE HELP ME GET THIS WORKING PLZ

The risk is low if you follow the instructions carefully...

Do everything on a copy of the original SD card.

i run x980 [used to run x960], although the tutorial i did, linked to by chas above, works; you may want to look around google for the VIMORO viamichelin unlock for your device, it is very easy to install. VIMORO is a spanish guy who doesn't widely advertise his skills but his unlock is highly rated by many around the web. [i can post a link to VIMORO if allowed?]
Just use the sole iGO8 unlock; delete all files inside the iGO8 folder & replace them with Primo 1.1, renaming the .exe to iGO8. i have found primo 1.1 from chas works best on viamichelins [x960/970/980] http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?5500-November-Primo-1.1-from-my-device with the gja_dafunk skin [i use 2.23 on my x980 & used 2.26 on my x960/970]

you will may need google to translate it into english from spanish. you will find on there all his different unlocks & install instructions for various viamichelin devices.[look at my post above for advice on the install]

The link is fine, it's only other GPS forums or sites with inappropriate content that cause a problem...

1backup your SD card or new sd card No SDHC create folder InstallSD
2 copy primo 1.1 or 1.2 or 2.0 in the folder InstallSD
3 rename the executable = InstallSD.exe
4 insert sd card the program starts
