Hello all,
With my Rider K4 (2013), I have a chipset Atheros, not SiRF or Global, thus, this update tool is useless. BUT I have found this from a Italian forum :

CHANGELOG VERSIONS
→ v. 1.1 - minor bug fixes
→ v. 1.2 - I made sure that all the files show the download date
→ v. 1.3 - I simply put the two files in Italian
→ v. 1.4 - I added the download of the files for the Atheros AR1520 chipsets!!
→ v. 1.5 - The tool now checks for the presence of the folders, if they are not there it creates them
→ v. 1.6 - various corrections to the text
QuickFixGPS v. 1.6 for Windows by speed29
QuickFixGPS Linux by speed29
Inside the folder you will also find three sub-folders
Atheros
GlobalLocate
SirfStar
where the update files will be inserted, and the batch file
QuickGPSfix.cmd
which is used to download from the TomTom site.
With the new version, they will be created at first use, do not worry about creating them.
Launch the file
QuickGPSfix.cmd
and check if the procedure is completed correctly.
Otherwise, if errors appear, check the type of error.
Once the download is complete, all you have to do is copy the
3 files related to the chipset of your TomTom
into the folder ephem of the device.
On the PC, you will find the folders divided by type of chipset, at the moment we have these folders:
.support-file (service folder)
Atheros
GlobaLocate
SirfStar"

Hi,
Not sure what's going on with filefactory.
I went through the process and clicked on the download link , yes, filefactory website has changed from when I went there last,
Each time I tried to download the QuickGPSfix update tool, this message keeps cropping up
(File Access Error An unexpected error occurred while trying to access this file)

Yes, same happened to me...I've updated post 1 using a different host
