Yes you can.
Transfer new maps (directory form) in maps folder.
Regenerate mlm and license with deviceID.

Sorry to be obnoxious, but what area does it cover?
Can maps be activated on card / PC (have no unit connection)?
Would it be compatible with Looket G8 (currently running Sygic TeleAtlas 7.5 UK & ROI)?

Once updated this- I'll post back as my old maps is going to be OK with it?
also, activation of App- is it done via SD card or necessary to access Unit itself?
Maps appear to be protected via some weird process, related to both- hardware unit and app components(I think Drivers)- is there precracked version of EU maps for it?

So, I copied contents of Windows Mobile Drive, replacing all files, that where there, copied KG and file (not Bosnian info.txt) and cant find .mlm file for it...
also I copied remaining files to SD root

Result- "cannot find "Drive" (Or one of its components)....
Mind guiding me through generating of file?
Or am I waisting our time, as actual app is incompatible?

WinMobile - run the installer inside.
Mlm file - need to know your maps, version date.
Your device ID to create license text.

Copy the whole package into a sd card.
Run setup from your device for installation.
Just copying over. No device ID will be generated.
After that put in your maps.
Create mlm and license

The maps, that came with app is version(?) date : SD Update for Looket G8 (UK) 080425

Since installer does not run on SD card and I can not access it, once in the unit- suggestions?

Is your software running.
If so, forget about the maps first.
Check settings - get the device ID.
Map are activated by keygen from mlm details.
Give your maps details and device id
I create the license for the maps.

What is your device OS
Wince version.
Are you running on a MIPS, headunit or pna

Old Soft and maps running good, but its only UK & ROI 2008- I'd like EU maps. (thus is Version 7.5 of Sygic TeleAtlas Maps)
New Soft- does not run, I wanted... in order to accept new maps.

I have no idea what type of unit you are having.
Not everyone knows the brands.
Now if it is a head unit installed in a vehicle running MIPS Sygic.
There is only one version you can run is ver 7.45. No others.
This is antique software ways 5 years back.
You can upgrade the maps but it will not run good graphics.

The best to check whether you can upgrade is to connect to PC by mass storage. If you can see your whole OS file system. Then you can make changes to your software version.
If you see no OS. The OS is ROM embedded.
Then try connecting via ActiveSync. If you can see your OS then you can change.
Buy a type USB type A cable.
Then I teach you how to do it.
