Hello,

OFF Topic :bs_offtopic: - but here are firmware files up/down-loaded :helpsos: .

Recently I updated my GpsMap64s to version v6.10. Unfortunately, loading and deleting caches has now become very very slow. I would like to restore the firmware before v6.10 ( v5.60 ? ), but I can't find it anywhere. Unfortunately Garmin support will not provide this version either.

Because I use UL maps, I prefer de non-patched firmware version. Does anyone know where I can download the original file GPSMAP64_WebUpdater__560.Gcd.

Make sure your device is fully charged.
Unpack contents to fresh SD card formatted FAT32
Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card into your device and power on.
"Loader" will appear on screen for a while then the device will boot up when the flash of patched firmware is complete.
Your device may reboot its self during the process just be patient.

Your SD card will have a new file named 154.bin this is a backup of the device's non-volatile memory region and may save your device later if needed,so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.

Please make sure your archive software is up to date or just Use the latest [Please Register or Login to download file]

Thanks, I didnt know about the patch. I'm sure its what I was missing. Still I must be doing something wrong because I dont get loader screen.

Edit: Yes I did. My card only formats to exFat but I dont think thats the problem. nevermind I formatted the card in Nuvicam and it worked. You are the best

Follow the instructions ,turn off by holding the power button until it asks Turn off device ?
Just drag n drop the Garmin folder from the archive to an empty FAT32 formatted SD card

Hi,
I was trying to update maps on Nuvi 2595 LMT, but for some reason update via G. Express doesn't work any more.
Then I put Garmin City Navigator Europe NTU 2022.10, but device can not unlock these maps. What should I do? As I understand, device needs to be patched, but couldn't find instructions for this device:

Nüvi 2595
HWID 1371
ver 8.30

I have went through this topic and found on page 24 post containing patch for this FW but links no longer work, so could someone please share if they have patch kit for this FW? thank you in advance.

Hey guys a quick question: There's any way to patch Garmin Fenix Tactix Delta Solar to be able to read custom JNX ? I currently have it working on my Fenix5x on firmware 15.20, but I could not find a way to achieve the same on the Tactix.

Unfortunately it looks like Drive, DriveSmart 52,55,65, zumo XT ,Alpha 200i, Montana 700 are all in the same category.
No solution as the Universal Firmware Patcher does not recognise the new format.

Drive 51 unit unlock

If I am understanding the previous post, the Drive 51 unit cannot be unlocked to use custom made maps, is that correct?

No, you are wrong. Drive and DriveSmart 51 (HWID=2586) is patchable via SD package.

Hello,

Lost my old trusted Oregon 600 last month, so I bought a GPSMAP 66i to replace it… Using it for hiking with unlocked Topo TrekMap Italia and Topo Suisse.

I just learnt on this forum that with this recent model, I will need to patch the firmware. The firmware version is 8.10 and the HWID 3284.

8.10 is pretty new (March 2021), is there already a patched version of it?
