I have tried all of the steps, but probably missed something, it did not work.

I have a Nuvi 67LM... What may I be missing, should I have changed parameters when in the patcher?

You do not explain where is your problem ! Usally you have to increase the number of the version in order the device to realise that is a new one and proceed to an update
