DEVICE USING A DIFFERENT COMPUTER:

1) To download the region file used by WebUpdater, copy and paste this link into your browser
on computer #1:

2) Bring GPSMAP276cx_580.gcd to computer #2 where your device is attached.

3a) Then you can drag-and-drop GPSMAP276cx_580.gcd onto the WebUpdater icon on your desktop.

3b) Or you can invoke WebUpdater at the command line, passing in the region file as a parameter:

C:\>WebUpdater.exe c:\path\to\GPSMAP276cx_580.gcd

Your DriveSmart 50 will need to be Patched first to use Unlocked maps,and uses NTU maps for Europe

Welcome to the forum, most devices that need be Patched have a solution here already, If not just ask.
What you are asking to learn on your first day as a member has taken years to evolve and now does not work on the latest devices since the DriveSmart 65.It would take a considerable amount of time and the occasional "Bricking" and recovery of a few devices before you have mastered it.
Look in your garmindevice.xml for the HWID then search this thread

<PartNumber>006-Bxxxx-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>xxx</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Your device</Description>
