I cannot boot from my SD Card, is the process to load first the firmware without patch and after the firmware with patch ?
I've found that my HWID in my GarminDevice.xml file is 006-B2807-00
Must I use the echoMAPwithSDCard_2021.09.20+Patcher.rar file or another please ?

I'm ask myself :

I'm using the SD Card about my first install with Garmin Express soft, with this I can boot in the update menu.
I've put your files with patch, I've boot too and choise update: it's good now, I can use all my patched cards.

Some great information here. Just want to check the current state of patching newer devices... Seems like some of the talk suggests the newer 1040, 540, 840, Edge devices have encrypted firmware which can't be patched?

is the Garmin Edge 540 patchable (this is the specific GPS I own)?

did anyone have any luck with unlocked maps on these devices?
