Sorry for the OT, but how du you actually load a patched fw to the GPSMAP 276cx, cant find how to get into pre bootmode?

@konfucius usally you press at the up left corner when your reboot the device if you cannot succeed give me your HWID to explain an other way

Harlemm... I have the same gps model, do you know to enter in pre boot mode? Nothing worked so far...

Hi, try this way:
1) Download the Archive I've prepared for you and extract to an empty microSD
2) Connect your Device to PC and delete any instance of GUPDATE.GCD (look in \.System folder)
3) Completly shutdown the Device
4) Put the microSD into the slot of Device
5) Power On the Device, should begin the Firmware Update Process (the process is quite long, about 10 minutes and the device could reboot 2 times)
6) After finishing your Device will be ready to read all Unlocked Maps

I am wondering if anyone can help me ?
I have a 3490 and I recently updated software and can nolonger see my Michelin green guide I have tried creating unl file but still can't see it,so I am wondering if the universal software patcher will allow me to see it if so would I have to unlock the maps also.
