New Garmin Protection

Garmin has made some sort of update to their latest firmware for their marine units.

Charts that USED to work and be unlocked (by various methods), now show as expiring in a certain time frame.

That means I can't update my chartplotter without locking up my charts.

Anyone have any "fix" for this latest problem?

the update in question is the 10.0 so if you have unlocked maps don´t update
