Hi, after installation, when I attempted to start ImgTool I was warned by Windows Defender that it contains vobfus!mclg virus. I temporarily disabled Windows Defender to allow to upload the file to Virustotal. See the results:

The link from opening post does not contain any contact to author and source code does not seem to be available.

The author is sherco40 (aka michel40) who is reputable and respected. There is NO malicious content in his helpful and free software:

There is not a single virus when IMGTool, the designer I know really don't know why his software is recognized as with virus.

Spent ages looking for the download link. there's alot of mention on the site but no direction to a download. is this the latest release
