The solution to change the language to english was posted on the first few pages, please have a look.

I read the whole thread only to find that it is a different que.exe that is needed? Would you please kindly pm me or direct me so I can set it up? Thanks so much for posting the tutorial btw!

Try again and follow the instructions, it has nothing to do with the QUE file. If it goes to English after following the instruction but reverts to Chinese next time you start it then re-post for assistance again.

You can change the language from Thai to US English, same for the keyboard.
If you can't find the right buttons in the menu, download a user manual for any Garmin version and compare the icons in the menu to select the right one to click.

Thanks so much for your response.

Yes, I have read everything in pages 7-9 over and over again. I have used Notepad++ to replace everything I have that has "Storage Card" (that was the file I used) to "SDMEM" (my sd card dir). The only replacement that was made was the .mscr in RunGMXT folder. There was nothing replaced for the Que.exe.

Looking forward to your advice!

you have to make these changes like is described in .mscr and .xml files!




Just to add to my reply I am having the same problem as this. I have also already did the same actions jbrande has done and nothing has worked yet, Awaiting your guidance.

I removed the old files and now there are complete packs to download wich are set up correctly - so if it is not working it must a CE problem ;)
Also added the missing standard voice, including spanish to download as well as a few fun voices - ENJOY!
For the display language there is not much what I can do, but the time problem might be caused by incorrect settings in your CE system.


I hope it isn't CE that's messing mine up....please help!

I Don't have time to go through the posts to find the link but it goes something like:
when you get the opening page it is in Chinese, Push the blue button down the bottom then hit the tools button (looks like a gear wheel.
Next select button that looks like the world, third choice (all chinese) is english you can then read screens in English. Every now and then a box pops up about gPS just say ok (button on right) you can fix it up later when in english or edit xml file to change GPS port number.

im having problems on my device. garmin starts up until to you click the agree button, then dissapears. :wallbash:

look in Font and change other font for you

such as Thai.ttf may not match for your device change Thai.ttf

Hi, I managed to run it but I its keep popping up "Unable to locate GPS device; please verify that device is powered on and within range. Continue searching?" When I clicked yes, in a few second the same pop up emerged. Did I missed any steps? Hope you can guide me. Thanking you in advance.
