What happens if you start the EXE inside the "Apps/WM" folder?
The script only starts the Windows Explorer and hides the taskbar, after that it just starts the EXE for Garmin.
If nothing at all happens than it is most likely that you have a mistake somewhere.

Thank you, I will test it first, and will let you know the result.

It can't run faster, Garmin XT for WIN CE is cracked - modificated app, it's not developed for win ce devices and doesn't run fast like on WM devices, and has that problem from begining, cracker didn't do anything new for this problem.... What's specification of your device, CPU and RAM ?

What's really CPU specif. and what's size of RAM memory - 64 or 128 mb ram?

Thu Aug 19, 2010 9:57 am

Are you sure you are running on Win CE? The program window should open at least.
Anyway : I uploaded another EXE for those devices that use "Storage Card" for the SD card, small but important space this time...

Check your device.xml file and edit it appropriately

Hello, thank you very much for this excellent post!

Almost everything works fine, except for two little problems:

1) I like to have sound and text in Spanish. Is this possible?

2) In 3D visualization mode, the screen is cut. (See image). The strange thing is, in the virtual machine works fine, but the problem happens in the GPS

Help please and thank you again!!

Greetings from Argentina (sorry for my English)

I am not sure the CPU specific, how can I check it. I think the RAM 128mb, It is China Brand 2 DIN Multimedia Player with GPS. I can ran Papago X5 SE and IGO Amigo ver 8 for winCE, both software are runnning smothly, no lag and never crash.

English or Chinese for the menu - voice files can be in spanish if you find some.
Just because other proggrams work does not mean all must work.
Most programs are optimised either for CE5 or CE6 if you still have CE4.2 on your device than several new programs won't work at all.
Don't get me wrong but : I think I got 128mb - or that other programs work fine is not really helping.
I notice a great lack of basic knowledge here :(
You all want help and we are here to help but please tell me :
how can we help without the right informations from the other side? Wie are not clairvoyants and have to rely on good infos.

So please for the future if you have a problem state the device and model, CPU speed, RAM, if it is unlocked and how, the settings for the program you use and so on.
A request for help without the right info in it won't help you;)

It is a double din Car Stereo Chinese, with Win CE 5.0 (Build 1400), 7 "screen 800x480 and SAMSUNG S3C2440A-40 400MHZ processor.

Everything works fine and no crashes, only I have the problem with 3D visualization

Hi Downunder35,
Sorry for my lack of basic knowledge. I can't chcek my CPU speed, because my device is locked down. I can only run exe file from the GPS setting configuration.
If there is any exe file or mscr script file to check my CPU and Memory size, I can run it from GPS menu configuration and setting, that is why I can't check CPU speed with normal way
As usual China brand never write down thier specific brand and model, It is labeled with local name call M-TECH multimedia player and GPS.

Thank you.
