HI..
I installed Garmin in my pnd, Sensonic N520, Wince 6, 128MB Ram. Atlas IV.

It's working like a charm.... except whenever i press on the option button it crashes, with a msg "Application Que.exe encountered a serious error and must shutdown"

I tried deejai's solution post #75, by changing the MortScript to no avail.

Any solution and help is appreciated.

thx

Hi,

I have installed Garmin in Chinease gps, I can see the control panel and the system appears:

WinCE 6.00
Processor type: ARM1136JF-S-AT840
Memory: 114020 Kb RAM
Memory card name in system: StorageCard

iGO Primo 9.2.1.178658 runs without problems.

When I run \StorageCard\Garmin\RunGMXT\Garmin.exe 'Please insert Garmin Mobile XT data card and then restart the program' appears.
When I run \StorageCard\Garmin\APPS\WM\Que.exe appears the same message.

I have running explorer, but when I want to run ExecutabilityCheck.exe 'ExecutabilityCheck.exe is not a valid Windows CE application' appears.

I think I have the wrong Que.exe or dll files, can anyone send me the link to download correct files or help me with that?

Thanks,
Ignacio.

Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.20w was working like charm on my Wince6 device.. I installed this 30w and i got the above map screen cut problem... Now even with 20w which was backed up before installign 30w is giving me same above problem..

What's old is what's new! If I were you, I would delete all of 30w [make back up of maps first] and go back to MY 20w [in the software section] which works 100% for 480_272. Also remove all remnants of 30w from your device's registry.

EDIT: I saw elsewhere that you tried mine.

i had sometime last year installed v5.00.20w on my China made PNA, but was very frustrated when I keep on getting the write access violation errors while using it. thus i had decided to use PPG instead since it is more stable. unfortunately, PPG doesn't allow custom POIs that i can download..

recently i tried this copy of v5.00.30w-ASN, replace the Que.exe as my unit uses SDMMC as the sd card directory, and it works like charm! unfortunately the unit with the default chinese font (although i had changed it to English) can't display some of the street name and my saved "locations" well.. after tons of reading from blogs and other forums, i noticed that it had something to do with Que.exe and QueResources.dll..

using the hex editor, i opened up Que.exe and noticed that this custom Que.exe do have the capability of displaying the original garmin fonts (including Chinese.ttf and Thai.ttf).. i managed to discover the default Garmin fonts to be "GarminDejaVuSans-Bold.ttf" & "GarminDejaVuSans.ttf".. i managed to download it via torrent after googling from the internet, save it into the Font folder and miracles happened... it works on my device! but then again, i don't know why it doesn't work on my friend's PNA, which uses the same copy of v5.00.30W-ASN copied from my PNA.. hope to find some workaround for this..

my gratitude goes to karagiosis and artful for this wonderful mod...

Maybe 64MB are not enough.
Which map do you use?
Only one map may be active and not to much POI.
