I've got a DriveSmart 61 LMT-S which only makes the "clicking" sound when the screen is touched but not giving any voice output during navigation. I tried:
1) to select some different vpm language files but all have the same problem.
2) reloaded the firmware 6.70 - no change
3) downgraded the firmware to 6.30 - no change
4) loaded a few new languages and selected those - no change
5) confirmed speaker is working - voice control recording can be played back
Part of the logfile below seems to indicate that the phrases are selected....but still no audio output
Any suggestions what else I can try?

Seems this unit is originally from N.America and you are in Europe.
Try using "Change Locale", this changes the matched files for voice, text & voice command for a specific region.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this didn't fix the issue. I tried UK, Australia and USA but none of them make a change. What I did notice is that the directions audio did play for less than one second with some unrecognizable output.
