Working Primo 1.2 with TTS from my device

Sun Feb 27, 2011 6:25 am

9.2.1.178658

This is Primo 1.2 complete with English TTS - Susan [US] and Kate [UK]. It contains my modified TTS_LOQ package that you may have seen before. Also contains official multi-resolutions data.zip. Know that the folder is named "Primo 1.2" so you might have to rename the path of your unlock.

Hi,
first time here and first post on the forum.
I'm trying to follow the instructions that I found here : http://www.navitotal.com/general-discussions-about-igo-core-f87/how-install-igo-primo-viamichelin-x960-t4940.html
But unfortunately the download given in this post by chas521 doesn't exist anymore.
Is there any chance to upload it again ?
Or is there any other place where I could download it from ?

Thanks !

Do you have to use Primo 1.1 for some reason? Primo 2.4 is better and newer...

OK and thanks for the reply.
No there is no particular reason. I was only following the instructions found on the other topic because it seemed to work well for that person.
And because I know absolutely nothing about gps devices and iGo.

Cheers !

And i forgot to ask..
What about iGo 8 ? Could that work aswell ?

Thanks.

Yes, iGo 8 will probably work the best out of all of them to be honest... iGo8 will be faster, but has less features. iGo8 screen updates are faster and smoother. Primo has some nice features, but also has a lot of crap that you'll never use. Personally, I would set up 2 SD cards - one with iGo8 and one with Primo 2.4 and see which one fits your needs better....
