Hi, I need to update my GPS Pioneer AVIC F-220.

Why do you need to update - and what?
Have you tried to contact Pioneer for the update?

I think you can install iGO8.3 or Primo on it and thus have the latest software and maps.

I need to update the maps because they are about 8 years ago ... I bought a second hand car and brings the GPS.

If I go to pioneer charged me 150 € for the upgrade

I think you can install iGO8.3 or Primo on it and thus have the latest software and maps.

I also read that some version of Garmin XT, but can not find any manual on how to do it ...

You know how I can get it?

Primo 209854 will work too it seems. Strangely all newer Primos are said they crash. Primo is much newer as Amigo.
When you can start up a navigation program there is a script that starts it. Thus what you need to do is remake the original link and point it to the iGO/Amigo/Primo program file. Can you access the device somehow? Connect it to Active Sync?

The program is installed on the GPS and not as accessible to view its contents. I connect via USB to the PC but nothing is displayed inside.

I want to install something on the SD to use the latest map, so I want to unlock.

The igo in the download is very old. When it works, you can replace it by one of our iGo/primo downloads.

Hey, it works almost ... I managed to start the GPS with iGo but when you make menu settings, appears with a larger screen resolution, making it impossible to adjust the settings.

So I do not know how I can fix it ...

No worries. You unlocked the Avic and was able to start an old iGO.
Focus on a new one.

Move the iGO you have now to your pc. Replace it on SD with the new iGO8.3.5 from Yurbuh Tuggly.

Hello, I have encountered two problems:

1- If it is not the "testmode" put in the root of the SD along with unbootable iGO8 folder. Previously I also do a reset and load settings for adjustments.

I tried to create a shell.ini so:

\ SDMMC \ iGO8 \ iGO8.exe

But not boot from the SD or resetting the device.

2- Inside the folder "X: \ iGO8 \ CONTENT \ VOICE" I find the sound in Spanish that is what I need and I have searched the web without success.

Any solution to the first problem is the most serious?
