It does appear that HMIManager.exe is responsible for more than the GPS software, Stopping the device from suspending is the main one, There is a mod that floats a button above the screen that kills some processes and starts Primo.

It's theoretically possible to start a script in place of HMIManager.exe which calls HMIManager.exe, waits a bit, kills whatever processes need to be killed, then starts Primo...

I would consider this to be advanced level.

The 'net is a bit lacking in information about this device!

So what do you recommend I do? The truth is that my English is not very fluid, I use "google translate".

There is a possibility of getting something?

On youtube there is a video of a Portuguese who has managed to cram 4 GPS in one device that I have, the AVIC F-220.

I managed to find Primofordiaftia3.6 archive, let me analyse it...

Try this...

First open HMIManager.mscr with Notepad on your PC and edit the path to Primo so it matches your device setup.
Second rename the original HMIManager.exe to HMIManager2.exe then copy the files from the archive into the same folder.
Third reboot the device.

The script should load HMIManager2.exe (The original version), wait a few seconds, then kill the processes listed in the Primofordiaftia3.6 mod and start Primo.

Hello, yesterday morning before I saw your thread load the GPS module in the car. With the files I had, the capeta iGO and other testmode folder.

When I start the testmode run, you select iGO.exe and the application loaded. But the GPS did not work, had no signal. Port remembered something I had read the baud rate so as iGO has that configuration option, give it to do so automatically. At the moment the only detected port and baud rate again began to operate.

Then during the day I did the car stops and boot up the GPS loaded without problems, will cost a bit but did not enter testmode as the previous times.

I just need to do a test, is to remove the GPS unit from the car and then put it back to see if the configuration is saved and directly start iGO.

I commented the next test and if that proves your script.

Thank you. -

You can add the port and baud settings to the sys.txt to make then permanent, and if it is working by using the test mode hack then go with that...

Hello,

thank you all working ... I have tried both methods and both work. After several days I put the GPS in the unit and charge perfectly with all that had saved.

Also the method of MortScript works well.

Thanks for your help and cooperation.
