1. That "testmode" seems to be needed for the type of unlock, which is not permanent. Maybe Fatboyfun can help you out here. He possibly can make a script that is permanent.
2. I do not understand this. You find the sound (voice) in Spanish and you need it. Then why search the web? Unless your download doesn't include the Spanish voice. What igo did you download?

Exactly the download does not include audio in the folder "VOICE" in Spanish, so I searched the web ...

It appears that the "TestMode" is the only way into the device, This is probably used for application/content updates.

Are you able to browse the internal file system (My Flash Disk) in the explorer window on the device?

If you can, It should be possible to intercept the call to start the original application and start another on the SD card.

A simple mortscript will achieve this...

What you need to do!

Start your device and load up an explorer window, the "TestMode" unlock from avic411 should do this, Open "My Flash Disk", Browse through the file system and look around for the original software, see if you can identify the main executable...

I don't know what software originally ships with this device, but look for folders named after the original software or generic names like Navigator, Navigation, MobileNavigator, etc

Hello, I have located the executable file that launches the application of GPS. It is located in two folders named the same, PROG0 and PROG1. I checked the two files and run the application that comes by default NavGate the Pioneer.

The executable file is HMIManager.exe

How can I now continue to run directly from the SD?

Thank you.

Please read the instructions carefully!

When you are 100% sure you know what the main navigation executable is, use the Simple Launcher tool to replace it, It would be easier to rename the files on the PC then transfer to the SD card, then use the explorer window on the device to copy from card to internal memory, I would move the exefile to be replaced to the parent directory.

Be careful with the exefile you replace as you can ruin the device if it's responsible for device functions, like appstartupsec.exe on mio's, I would consider navi.exe rather than hmimanager.exe, did you try running it?

Hello,

file navi.exe did nothing, I run both the folder PRO1 and PRO0. I thought that was the application executable shook but did nothing when I gave.

I checked several times and running the application is the HMIManager.exe

Now I have to do? Because I've seen many posts of Mortscript and which are not good choices.

Thanks for the help.

Mortscript is like a knife, it can be either be very useful, or it can totally destroy.

With a name like HMIManager.exe i'd be wary of replacing it, it sounds like it is responsible for more than the navigation software, rather like AppStartupSec.exe on Mio devices, replacing it breaks the USB connection.

The last thing you need is a device that won't boot properly, because it isn't an easy problem to fix.

Might be worth trying to copy the My Flash Disk files to the SD card for closer examination..?

Describe a normal device startup, before you started 'playing', does it go to a menu where you select navigation, or does it just boot into the navigation software?

OK, I will try to copy files and folders PRO0 and PRO1 to SD but then take them into the computer.

By the way, how I can open the context menu in Windows CE? I mean the right click to copy & paste

when you insert the module AVIC F-220 automatically starts the navigation system. This is shown on the screen of radio / CD. With a button on the radio / cd changes the display to show audio options radio / cd or displays the GPS navigation screen.

To run the GPS not to do anything, simply place the unit in place it runs alone, there is no button or icon to do.

Zip them up and upload them somewhere, then I'll have a look through them myself, maybe run then on an emulator etc...
