Can anyone tell me roughly how long it should take to upload the file onto the NG4?

I am copying the 2 files/folders (config.nfm and pkgdb) onto the root of either an SD card (formatted in FAT32) or a USB drive (FAT32) and then following the upload instructions.

Once I choose the source (either SD or USB) that option greys out and it just remains there.

I have left it over 15 min and nothing changes.

Sometimes it asks me for Disc 1/0?

Any ideas, its a Citroen C5 2011 with Navidrive 3D.

Cheers

David

Hello,

Here is a new speedcams database for NG4. It is not an official release. The last official release was 2011-06-23 dated... The database provided here is a custom database, which was released on 2011-08-02, using NG4 structure files and official RNEG files for database. The install procedure worked very well for me.

Hi there,

Is there a new update yet?

Here is the last official release I used:
[Please Register or Login to download file]

I've found a site named SCDB ([Please Register or Login to download file] ) where you can download all updates you what for any GPS, with no limit, for 10€ for a year. I think it's cheaper than everything I've seen ever, and due to the low cost files, I'll not put the files on the site anymore.

Previous releases I had where official releases from Wipinfo, witch have prices very high for the given service.

So I invite all to go to SCDB. Note that if you give a new cam position, you'll have a free access for life...

Regards

Hi there,

Let's keep this thread open though and see whether we can find other(s) or links for future releases.

Here's the link for the latest SCDB 01-10-2011 on [Please Register or Login to download file] .

Can you explain the procedure to generate the file hazard.conf in the NG4 file ? or give us the program to make this?
thank you

you have to generate manually this file. Use an old one, and replace the size by the size of the lwd file, and calculate the MD5 checksum of the lwd file and put it in hazard.conf.
Beware, I don't know what happens if there is an error in these datas.

Hi there,

Well, made the december 2011 update from SCDB / RNEG working for NG4.
You can download it from [Please Register or Login to download file]

Copy files onto a FAT32 USB, plug in USB with engine running and update your harzard areas.

Ok it's fine.
The method is good . I find a utility Checksum to make the good value.
Thanks for all
