Peugeot 308 installing firmware and maps

Hello all,
I have problem with playing music from new fat32 32gb formated USB.Frequently stuck and restarts itself whole system while usb is in. That doesnt happend if the usb is out. I wanted to update my firmware to latest one. Mine says it is: SMEG5.2.A.R.9

FROM: 03-09-14

I found someone says latest one is 5.43.A.R2, but im not sure can i do it bymyself without errors. Can you please help me with links and update procedure. And can i update maps also ? Or for music just to try to find another smaller usb stick. Thank you

I've updated, firmware to the latest smeg+ 5 version and maps, speedcam and everything went fine :)

Did you updated from 5.2.A.R9 directly to the latest 5.43.A.R2 or did you have to update with other firmware versions in between first?

I have a Peugeot 208 1.6 diesel 2015 and it has the 5.2.A.R9 but when i plug the usb pen it says "invalid"... I have tried 5.4, 5.41 ane 5.42 and still the same error.

i am trying to find version 5.2.C.R1, to try to update to that version first, but can't seem to find any usable download link online

Use good quality USB, and format it to Fat32 before use it. Do complete format, not the fast mode!

Hi there. Finally I did manage to update the firmware. I bought a new pen drive and prepared it with 5.43.a.r2 and did the procedure as usual and it worked.
It was the older pen's fault.
Thank god. Because with the version 5.2.a.r9 I had a bug where I couldn't wipe out all the information (like contact list of the previous owner). Nor with Clear All daData, neither Restore Factory Settings. And now it worked.
