Installed the 480x234 version X3 on my china DDIN, however the button after clicking respond time is too slow and cannot lock to satelite. I check my com is 2 and baud speed is 1200, can any sifu here help to provide me the correct happyfile ? thanks.

thanks MontersGPS, the happyfile works to get the satelite signal.
However I still face 1 problem, when select a destination, it tooks long to calculate the route, and endup with only the straight dotted line showing the destination from current position (it keep updating according to my latest position though), however there is no route suggestion, something wrong ?
I have all the 800x480 & 480x272 & 480x234, currently using the 480x234 as my DDIN display res. is 480x234, can I change any of the files from another res. program to solve this problem ?

retry by deleting files inside "save" folder first ....

Hi MontersGPS, I tried deleting all the files (5 files, RouteTmp17, PPGPOI17, Recent17, sys.cfg & ~sys.cfg; all date stamped based on my last use) in the save folder, but the situation still the same....only straight doted line from my current position to the destination, no voice navigation nor propose route.

For your info, the current position marker (arrow) is moving smoothly following my movement.

Any idea what is the problem ?

You didn't mention about the map:
1. Can you see the map?
2. What map you use?
3. Can GPS get and locked the satellites? If can, is your car in correct position?

1. yes, the map is displayed OK, the arrow is moving on the road according to the actual road.
2. R21, I use the map comes together with the zipped x3 program for 480x234
3. yes, the satelites were locked, my car is in correct position

Hope above info will help, in the mean time I will change the map to the latest MFM maps for PPG and update again after try

1. Where do you get prog? can you pm the link, since I need to check the whole files?
2. No Sounds, is there any sounds folder and files inside?
3. You run with happyfile from monters?

1. I have received your link of PPGX3_480x234, get it and copy to my SDCard (in my GPS 480x272 wince 6, com 1), run navi19600.exe (use com 1) and simulate it around KL...everything is OK.
2. Are you in Malaysia (the map inside is mfm)? can you see the road map? after you navigate to the destination, you will see the reference line (you call it dot line?), reference line will direct you the point of yr destination. Only if you can see the road/track the system will route to your destination and you will see blue highlight on the track, except it not locked satellite yet or you are not in Malay, you will only see reference line without road.
3. I can hear sound navigation..check via Advance Setting>Language>Voice Type Malay (or English) ...dont use TTS

1. Mine is wince5, wonder if this version is not for wince5 ? But the display of 480x234 is definately correct.
2. Yes, I'm in Malaysia, the map is from MFM, I can see the road map, the reference line (I called it dot line cos it appeared so) except the blue highlighted (guiding) track. System can show my current position correctly and map was showing all the road, thus I believe satelite was locked, the only problem is the voice and blue track navigation can not be executed after long waiting, it will come back to previous screen and ask me for "destination" again.
3. Sound files is not a problem at all, if the guided navigation could start, the voice should be able to, the main problem I'm facing is guide navigation cannot be executed.

I remember reading before that X3 is modified version of HK PPG, may be it just not suitable for my DDIN...

mostly papago can run both in wince 5 and wince 6...as I said before, I run that program in my 480x272 wince 6, please try again by using 480x272 wince 5 or 6 and what is the result?

I tried before running PPGX3 480x272 version on my this wince5 and res. 480x234 DDIN, same problem with additional issue image not complete at the bottom of screen (due to 272display program on 234 vertical line display monitor).

If you face same problem when running at 480x272 wince 5, it indicate those prog is not compatible with wince5
If you want, you may check at Papago Software Thread since there is 480x272 res PPG Taiwan

im using 2din with 480x234 too. can someone pm me the download link. btw, my 2din running on com2 and 4800 baud rate. TQ very much
