This cannot use taiwan maps......x5 and x8 is difference maps version! do not mix up!

Hi Monster GPS,
thx for replying i had ran the GPS test prog to get the baud and com but everytime i run it it gives me different values for the baud rate although the com is fixed. i have values at 19200, 4800, 1200 ... so which value should i take? my com is COM 1

Your device default is Com 1 and default Baud is 4800......

Your request has done! But not include Maps files!

hi again, thx for your very fassst reply... I'm actually new to this.. do u have any guide on how to setup the papago x5se on my e668xp device? thx alot ya :)
I've actually tried searching the forums and Googling but to no avail. the closest I got was a detail guide on setting up Garmin on the e668xp but not papago x5se. hope some of u whom had did it successfully can guide me. cheers!

* Extract the program to your pc desktop, then extract the com 1 into the program folder.
* Download the maps files and install it into the program maps folder!
* Copy the entire Navi folder into your e668xp NandFlash or sdcard!
* use your e668xp menu option to find Navi_Patch and click on it to choose HD5001_C1.exe.
* Last, run Navigation.
* Done!

Example:

Navi/Maps/MFM_xxx/maps files........

hi thx for the guide I had followed exactly what u had written but unfortunately it does not start the papago software. when I click on the GPS button I only heard the welcome voice and the welcome screen appeared only for a split second and thereafter vanishes and I'm back to the main screen again where u can select GPS, tools, settings etc. hope u can assist me further on this thx!

Do you install the maps files into the maps folder?
Without maps files it can't run!
