hi all,

downloaded the files from link provided by silicon1984 (thank you!!) and copied map from mfm (x5/custom version). selected the C2 reg file to start. however, after the x7 splash page and eula page, the program seemed stuck at the gui screen (where you select navi/destination/routing/advanced). no response to any selections.

appreciate any help/suggestions. also, i require com 6 baud 4800. the links in the first page have been deleted. system is running on winCE 5 at 64mb ram.

thank you all and a Happy Chinese New Year!

Does your device has 800x480 resolution? why the ram is very small / 64mb? I don't think it will work on your device...
Just checking the spec, it require 129mb:

H5600
GPS Receiver
SiRf Atlas IV dual-core (ARM1136/500Mhz), 128mb RAM, up to 32 channels

Check your file/folder. I have test Navnet 1.82 can use but if your GPS using WinCE5 will stuck !
Only WinCE 6 and using Sirf reporting success using this software.

Waiting cracker to solved this problem.

Nagas,

thanks for the reply.

yes my device is 800x480. i have no trouble running the x5se, tomtom, igo8, igo primo, powermap etc. i am just puzzled why the x7 stuck at gui screen.

Thanks Monters GPS !

Just managed to install it on the following devices:

1. China 6" WinCE6 800x480 128MB Sirf4
- seem ok, can see my location correctly once GPS signal lock
- navigation speed seem no different compare to X5SE-HD
- only 1 problem the street name wording seem to be very big on scree, any idea on how to make it smaller?

2. Dragon Pearl GPS500 5" WinCE5 480x272 128MB ([Please Register or Login to download file] )
- can install, already tried to enter few Reg.Code, but position still out once GPS signal lock, I don't even know where am I !
- it show PID=PGM801 CID=0
- any idea what Reg.Code should I enter?

@bum99my, nice to see you again!
Been a while I didn't access GPS site, hope I didn't miss out any interesting things here since X5SE ......
Btw, is this X7 better than X5SE?
