Yep I think it is the reason why X8 didn't work on your device, I recommend you to use Gonav8, it is very fast soft...

This is Taiwan version......it's no English Menu! Are you sure you need this?

Once again this is Taiwan version and just have chinese interface....it doesn't have English interface!

I can't run it to check, it hang at startup. the logo shown PAPAGO 8 with a chinese word"fa" beside.
