All the files are already uploaded from my R6100 except for the Nuance folder. This folder is more than 200MB and for TTS use. Later I will upload if you need because I am out station at the moment.

Hi,

Actually, both software are very similar. The difference is, the M3GPS is launched slightly earlier and installed in R6600 device. This M3Asia software is installed in R6100 device.

There are differences between R6600 and R6100 devices. The former is a more high-end model which has Bluetooth function and Voice Activation function. While the latter does not have these but it has FM Transmitter function. Since R6100 is launched later, it comes with a newer version but updates are available for R6600 version.

I personally think there's a small useful improvement which R6100 has which ask whether you want to Off (Sleep mode) or continue once the charging power is removed.

The price difference is around RM150 between them.

Hi,

Anyone faced the problem above? I faced this same problem when my boss asked me to update his PPG to X6. I think many also face this problem with M3X6 also.

I have managed to solve this problem on his PND. I think its because the WinCE version is in English. I reflash it to Chinese WinCE and the routing problem is solved.

Please refer to the picture below:

1029
This is the picture of the WinCE in English before reflash.

1027
This is the picture after reflash the WinCE to Chinese version.

1028
This is the picture of the Route simulation. Before reflashing, the program will just exits.

For information, the WinCE for PPG R6100 is in Chinese also.

gpsforever wrote:Hi, please refer to the below which I have posted in other thread:

Regarding the reg code, if wrong code, the map will shift and will not show you in right location. First put in 0000000000 and check the location. The gps coordinate in system status shows the actual figure. Compare with the coordinate from trip computer. If the code correct, both coordinates are the same, means no shift.

If there are shift, observe whether N coordinate or E coordinate different. Normally, the E coordinates are the same, only the N shifted. Then you have to key in the combination to check. The first 5 digits shifts the N coordinates and the other 5 digits shift the E coordinates. You have to key in 1 combination, compare coordinates, if not ok, exit and restart again with a different. You have to write it down each time the different numbers and the effect on the coordinates.

Tips, the reg number is related to the memory card id. Initially my number is 0998000000. But when I copy into another memory card, it shifted and try again and got 0996000000 to work perfectly.

A lot of hard work, but believe me, once you got it, it will sure make your day.
