Sirf Atlas-IV, YF 82AV6, Wince6.0, 64MB RAM.
- X8.5 run well without memory low. But LCD backlight auto changed to "OFF" every time run X8.5. It sets the GPS backlight to "0" value..
Any expert can write script to prevent backlight off, or keep alive?

Thanks for sharing. Tested on my Wince 5.0, SiRF Atlas V, RAM 64mb. So far running OK except sometimes memory low due to RAM 64mb. Only problem is that my backlight is set to "OFF after 1min" from "ALWAYS ON" whenever using X8, anyway I can disable this feature to keep my backlight "ALWAYS ON".

Pls let me know your X8 run in residentflash or sdmmc? And your gps path to run X8. e.g. sdmmc/navi/navi.exe

I rename Mobilenavigator folder to X8 and place into my sd card.Without renaming also NP but its for my own storage reference. Path >> sdmmc/Navi/X8/Q4033X8.5_C1.exe Hope this helps.

Pls download file in attached and copy into your folder.
Change your path to sdmmc/Navi/X8/NaviBackLight.exe
p/s: Pls exit papago properly using exit button. If shut down gps without exit papago, the backlight will change to "off after 1 minute".

Bro, can you teach me how to install this new papago...i already downloaded all the file...try to do the usual way but cannot run...force shutdown...can you please teach me step by step.
