I installed the "Thailand Maps TH120601" on Galaxy Y and Note with Papago's M9. Also installed on PND. All working seamlessly.

Pros and Cons of M9 :

Pros - Very good.

Cons - No door to door feature - can only navigate to the road, you will have to locate the door or house number yourself.

Hope MFM will incorporate the "door to door" feature with their next issue of new M9.

I've not used X9, I believe it should be more or less the same as X8.5. The Thailand map should read : "TH_120601_M_Z_85L". It works fine on my generic PND. I put in three maps, i.e. "MFM-PPG-X8.5-X9-120607", "navigasi" and "TH_120601_M_Z_85L". All three maps show up on the X8.5 and switchable.

The problem may be the data integrity during the copy process. Try use an external SD card reader to copy the map instead of copying via the PND's internal card reader.

If this still fails to rectify the problem, it is likely that X9 may be the culprit.

Bro Gawanco
I have tried this map at M9 since my pnd does not detects it. In M9 I dont see it on map switch too. Is there a step I miss out? My map location >> sdcard/navisea/maps/TH_120601_M_Z_85L

Your string looks correct. Try use an external sd card reader via your computer to transfer the map folder containing the map to the sd card instead of hooking the PND directly to the computer to do the transfer. If this method solves the issue, the likely culprit lies with the builtin sd card reader of your PND.

One experience I had with the builtin sd card reader of PND was the app was copied directly from the computer to the PND. The app works fine, but no sound ! I removed the sd card from the PND and use an external card reader/writer to copy the app. Removed the sd card from the external card reader/writer and re-inserted back to the PND, all worked fine, the sound was loud and clear !

Hope that helps.
