Thu Jul 22, 2010 12:04 am

I accidentally formatted my PND. I dont remember what is the firmware actually preinstalled inside it. But it looks like this;

It seems that my PND totally death and been tried lot of OS82c.img and YFAPP.wzp to unbrick it but no luck so far.

PND boots up and stucks on the welcome screen eventhough i try to flash it back.

I need helps from someone here who expert in reflashing Chinese PND. :helpsos:

Hi penanghazard,

OS82C.img is for Sirf 3, not for your Sirf 4. Please have a try on this URL for your 82AV6

Hope it works!

AFAIK there is no utilities to backup the firmware if your OS is WinCE6. But just try download from YFBAR site as mentioned by Winzmy, it should have similar firmware that could 'unbrick' your PNA

here is the rom flash file for you:
unzip the 6 files to the SD card, then plug in your PND, then reset it. then it will automatically reinstall your OS, and APPs. you may be asked to calibrate your touch secreen or click some "OK" or "Yes" button during the procedure.
