You may have to install "Windows Mobile Device Center" to view the file system on your device, this is a Microsoft free download.

On your PC in folder settings, turn on show hidden files, and turn off hide system files.

Dear Fatboyfun,

Done the settings but still can't see the map folder. Is it write protected?

Being write protected does not stop you seeing the cards contents, does the card still work in the device?

Dear Fatboyfun,

Yes is working in the device.

I don't know how your particular device works, but my guess is the content that was on the card has been "moved" to the devices internal memory, like a form of copy protection?

Does the device work without the card inserted? if yes this is the case.

Bear in mine though the map folder may not be called map.

Dear Fatboyfun,

Without the card the gps does not work.

Dear Fatboyfun,

Btw is it possible that I can download the Papago X8.5 full program with Singapore map so that I can install into another Sd card which make it more useful if need to edit.

I have no idea, acquiring a version of papago with Singapore maps should be easy enough, but how to run it on your device, I have no idea..?

Dear Fatboyfun,

Well would like to give a try. Are you able to provide the download link?
