My only question at this point would be: This unit looks new so why would you want to mess with it now? I would assume it has the most current program/maps.

Now does the device have an internal disk with files/folders to make it operate or is everything run from the SD card?

It looks like it comes with a navigation program but it looks like it comes with no maps. Can you see what the nav program is?

EDIT: Your maximum SD card must be no more than SDHC 8GB. By the way, that is plenty. 4GB would be fine.

sygc maps is the software used by EONON , it was an option that i did not purchased due to the poor reviews posted by people who own this navigation system, so I decided against it. But now I have no maps installed in it

Good. Thanks for the information. In this forum on the main page, there is a section Other Navigation Programs [or something like that]. There is a Sygic sub-forum. I suggest that you post there. I can't move what we did [this thread] to that sub-section but we really haven't done so much except gather information. Thanks.
