RAC 1000 Satnav

Hi can anyone offer me some advice
my rac 1000 satnav is stuck on the start-up screen & won't connect to my pc via usb
any help on how to connect to my pc would be welcome

What did you do to get to this state? It sounds like a registry problem (HKLM\init)

A hard reset or a reflash may be the only thing you can do.

Hi I have not used it for a while tried to use it last week & hey presto it would not work Ive tried reseting it still no joy
how do I reflash

Before you can reflash you need to find out whether the files you need are available because a lot of the time they're not.

Do you have the CD that came with the device? Because there appears to be a "recovery" option on it, other than that the advice on the manufacturers site is to send it back to them.
