Wed Sep 11, 2013 12:51 pm

Hi, wonder if anyone can help, i have bought a Mio Moov 614LM which came with free lifetime map updates -the speed cameras however arent free!! . Does anyone know where I can get speed camera software for the mio moov? also what folder will i put them in ? and is it just a case of drag and drop the files in?
Hope someone can help.
Cheers All

They should go into content\speedcam. BTW, where do you live?

Looking at a backup of my mio moov, navman\poi would be my guess as it has safetycam.wav in there, what format it needs to be I don't know.

Probably speedcams need to be in a proprietary format, adding speedcams as poi's might be possible, but you may not get an audible alert.

i would assume it is ,its navman based and the navman was easy enough to unlock, it has a built in internal memory of around 4gb but no sd card slot but i would think 4gb is enough. The only drawback is that its on wince 6.0 , from what i know tomtom and the like run better on wince 5.0

Take a look at iGO primo, it runs very well on moov hardware, I use it daily on my M400.
