Thanks FatBoyFun!
Right now I am playing about again with all available options...
It was your build, map ways I do install most of W/C/E/and N Europe. SPCDB I used what works on Primo 2.0 variants, but placing files in speedcam folder doesn't work in my case...
I MUST BE DOING something WRONG!
Let me get back to you- (I'll try everything again)

May I ask which files and how you do place them in the folder?

Thanks guys!
Just tried again- nana!
files from unlocked 2012 EU database
as
SpeedcamUpdates.spud
SpeedCamText.txt
speedcam.spdb
.................................................................
BTW them files placed in Drive/content/"speedcam" folder where working with 2.0 and i3!
whilst in Primo 1.1 it (maybe, I thinks- can't locate(meant to be in different location)) ? SIMPLY doesn't show or be found by Primo1.1 on maps or in sys info...

dunno!
........................
got to go for a while, but what's left seems to try Chas'es 8.3 or pay harder (get brain working again) for Sygic :)

What is drive\content\"speedcam"? Actual folder should be content\speedcam
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

The programs have content as the main folder and the sub-folder is speedcam not drive\content\speedcam.

Yes!

Copy the .txt file to the \..content\speedcam folder and restart iGO.

To check iGO can see and use it, go to About -> More -> Content and see if it shows up.

Other things to check/be aware of...

Make sure the .txt file includes cameras for your country.
On some builds of Primo, Speed cameras are called Alert Points in the menu.
Currently sleeping...

What Chas is saying is that the content folder always is in iGO/Primo root. However iGO/Primo itself may be in a folder called iGO (often is) or Drive. Then that one is the main folder and it makes the path to the speedcam file look exactly like Drive\content\speedcam\speedcam.txt. Very often that path is needed as the device expects the program file on a particular place, like in the Drive folder.

Thanks guys!
just tried placing Primo 1.1 files directly in to root, instead of (Drive) folder- she said no system recognized or something...? igo didn't start or hardware didn't like any more files on root?
dunno!
Going to start from new
