I don't know what is the name of my GPS system

Hello,
friend just gave my his old gps navigational system but there is not name on it, and when I connect it to my lap top it doesn't recognize it. On the welcome screen there is a red porsche next to windmill. Does anyone know where to find software for it so I can upload same maps?

Sounds to me like a chinese Win CE device with a "Y" in the name.
Check the about screen for some more info if there is one.
But I am sure it runs on Win CE, for that you can find several thread here that can explain how to access the CE system and to add shortcuts to start additional programs - or how to install a custom menu to start several programs without the need for the Windows screen.
The later is often prefered as in the CE Windows you often need a touchpen to be able to make selections unless you have long fingernails and a really good aim.

It sounds alot like one I have. You can should be able to use either igo or primo on it, however you should be able to find it when you plug into your pc.
