What are the specs and can you link us to them?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

That page tells us nothing, what can you see when you connect the device to the PC and browse it's contents?

I would imagine the navi folder contains the navigation app, try replacing it with iGO8, you will need to keep the folder name and the main executable name the same as the original.

You will probably need to remove the other folders to make room, obviously make a full backup first!

Did you rename the iGO8 executable to match the old one exactly?
