Is there any type of configuration file for this Navigrecive programme? Or if you can copy and upload it as i've never heard of it before, and there doesn't seem to be much info available about it.

Have you tried deleting the "save" folder? Then completely shutdown your device, wait a few seconds and then restart.

Did you have to use an unlock to view the cracked program? If so, where did you get it?

i have checked the mute bottom isnt on as i can still hear sound.

Here is a link to the Custom loader that i use to load into Wince, [Please Register or Login to download file]

Some units just can't have TTS but you can't even get the non-TTS voices. You didn't answer me. Did you have to use an unlock and if so where did you get it. Also, [I'm guessing here], it just may be that you need an actual satellite lock to change some options.

It appears that the sound for the CD player and the Radio isnt controlled by the Navigrecive, is there a tool to see audio files on a wince device,?

If this makes it even easier, here is a copy of the windows folder from the device:

Both Navigrecive.exe and AVOverlay.exe stay resident in memory after launch, Boot to a desktop and run them manually, then run the new version of iGO, Or have you tried removing the unlock and renaming the new folder and application to match the old version of iGO, Basically putting it back to how it was. Confirm the old version still works then substitute the card with the new version on it but with renamed folder and application.

The radio and CD player will be separate hardware, The sound could possibly be fed into WinCE like CD audio on a PC and mixed via software within WinCE.

I've done some investigating and I'm sorry to say that your device has a history of sound problems. I'm not saying that this is your problem but it has happened to others. They had to get in touch with the manufacturer.

I have tried removing the lock and running Igo (primo 1.2) as the original did as 2 folders, i renamed igo to Navigation. and put the content and navigation as 2 separate folders.

I tried manually booting navigrecive and avoverlay.exe while booting to desktop but still couldnt get any sound out.

I have seen in the past there has been issues with sound, but that was due to the fact that some units was faulty. My unit isn't faulty and if i put the original navigation SD card back in, i can get sound no issue, also it plays cd/dvd's and the radio with no sound problems. Its only when i try running other software on the device i get no sound, im still convinced there is something blocking all of wince sounds.

Then this must be a modified version of iGO6 to run on a modified version of Windows.

Some devices just cannot be unlocked unfortunately. You may be able to get an updated ROM from the manufacturer.

What about if i completely delete the windows folder, start fresh with a non modified version of windows CE? Would this work.

Also i know if i go out and buy the europe maps from Halfords (where the headunit came from) they run a custom version of iGo 8, the problem is, its nearly £90. If i go buy it, copy over all the files and run the licence from here i still should beable to run igo 8 with sound.
