need help with a Joyous J-2612MX

I need help with a Joyous 2612 MX , I did a factory reset on the settings and now the unit locks when it starts, like if it's bricks the starting logo stays on and none of the botons will work display stays frozen, it wont even turn off, I have to unplug the power cable to reboot again, with the same results, any body knows how to fix this problem, do I have to flash or Jtag the unit?:upset::upset:

Yes I did, and after that it just locked on reboot with the logo, and it wont turn off with the power button. it seems like if is bricks.

That didn't answer my question.

Two scenarios here...

1, The device can't find the navigation application so just sits on the boot screen, the reset cleared that info from the registry.
2, The device isn't booting properly anymore.

1 might be able to be fixed and 2 requires a reflash.

Thank's Fatboyfun, can you explain 1 , and 2 sounds a little complicated, 3 I still have the option off returning the unit for and even exchange ,is the inconvenient of shipping it back, if 1 is a simple thing it will save me some time and money.

It's probably not going to be a simple thing to fix, I'd return it if you have that option...

My have the same problem. I've installed MioPocket and it clears the boot. By now it starts but stop on the brand logo. The question is how i can reach the reset: 3 options. Booting by SD card, booting from CD, and the last one booting by computer connected to usb port.

Three sugestions...
