Did you make sure the new folder\file.exe matched the old folder\file.exe?

Opss...im afraid i didnt do that...:(
Fatboyfun posted here on 1st page this:

"Becker Z101 is a device that is originally running Navigon.

There is a simple way to run Primo (or iGO) software - but loose Navigon !

Delete the contents of the folder called "MNAV"
Copy the Primo software in that folder.
Rename Primo.exe or iGO.exe or MobileNavigator.exe to Shell.exe"

You are talking about this?

Thks again

Yes, the device looks for a specific exefile and runs it, otherwise it just sits there doing nothing.

Ok then...i will do that way and see...:)

Hi Fatboyfun...
I finally made it...i follow your tips and the info gave by chas521, deleted all the MNAV folder and extracted to there an iGO8_8.3.5.231128.rar that i have found...
Renamed the IGO8.exe to Shell.exe and it booted! :)

i have found to some PT-PT voices and languages as Speedcam info that i have puted in the specific location too.

Im just missing a map of Iberia so i can put on it...do you know where i can find it?

Besides the MNAV folder All the other files that are on the flash disk of the device can be erased?
Here is my folder structure right now:

iGO (unless modified) works within it's folder, so it shouldn't need anything outside of the folder, however the device itself might need files, I'm sure the western Europe map file could go, (backup first) but I'd check what is in the other folders first

The folder CLM just have 1 file:
ephdata.clm

The folder save has another folder inside called mnavsettings that contains one file named favorites and another folder named routes that is empty

Im gonna erase all except MNAV and see what happens...

Sun Apr 07, 2013 7:03 pm

CLM folder was added because it lets the device lock on to the satellite quicker. You can safely delete the entire save folder. A new one will be created the next time the program starts/ends.

It all looks like it's all related to the original software, so should be safe to delete, obviously back it up onto your PC first.

Aparently with just the MNAV folder it works normaly.

Tomorrow im gonna test it on the street and see how it works..:) then i post here...

@Fatboyfun and @chas521
Thks for the extreme helpfull help given for you guys ;)

Cheers
