TomTom Carminat - BT Remote connection.

Hi all,

I've had a renault master 2011 since about a year now comes with the TomTom Carminat system. Battery in the remote was empty when I first wanted to use the navigation. Changed it and it worked just fine.
However I wanted to update the maps etc and it also updated to 8843, ever since that happened the bluetooth connection seems non existent.

I've bought a bigger SD card so it could fit the entire europe map but no matter what I try (tried downloading the 8842 noref.php?url=http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/navcore_8842.542199.Carminat_TomTom.cab) software and just manually putting it on the sd card.
When I put it in the carminat it takes a bit but boots up fine, still no connection however.

Do any of you have a suggestion as I'm losing my mind and spend 60 euro's on cards I now cannot use.

Probably connection lost is not related to navcore / map updates.

As i read you spend a 60 euro per new map, but ... next time have in mind thay you can handle this unit own, following my tutorial at nissan-renault/2012-renault-clio-corrupted-card-t23757.html#p194600 with navcores, maps, speedcams, voices ect ... as you like.
