SKU Creator - Create your custom map package on R-LINK 2

Re: SKU Creator - Create your custom map package on R-LINK 2

I updated the IGO map to renault talisman with SKU creator. But old speedcam files and cameras remain after map update. Therefore, I want to delete the "speedcam.spdb" file in the map package content. Even though I tried this by creating a sku file with "SKU Creator Fingerprint" and installing it on the tool rlink2 system, it is not deleted. If you could help with this situation, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks...

It would be necessary to know the last available version known from the Renault servers.
For that, you can go [Please Register or Login to download file] and enter your VIN.
If the displayed version is 24.160, it's OK.
On the other hand, if another version is displayed your problem could come from an upgrade attempt made on version 7 which was badly done by the Renault technician.

Hi, my system was just updated by dealer from 3.x to 7.0.24.166.
But I forgot to put back the original maps before update and the green screen problem occurred.

If I just install the patched iGo partition for 7.0.24.16x, would this solve the problem?

My question would be: the url to the 'mapvui_map_32GB_NAND.zip' file doesn't work.
Do you have a working link?

Hello Sperafico.
First, thank you for your work with SKU, how useful it is.
And my question is that I have read that there are hihgt maps and med maps.
How can I create med maps? Because my car is a kadjar and the screen is 7 ", I think I can only use med maps.
Thank you.

1st thank you for this great work.

I have Rlink2 3.3.16.986 and when I connect to Rlink toillbox I can download some apps, but no maps. So If I use pacthed partition with custom maps and I would revert with back-to-IGO patch how can I restore the maps? Will the patch delete all existing maps and create a fingerpirnt file which has no map entries? Based on that I can download all offical maps?
Could I do a backup 1st?
Could you please help me?

Good morning, gentlemen.
I have R-LINK 2 version 9 in Megane 4. I installed an overlay to be able to install maps from the outside. When installing the latest maps, a message about insufficient space pops up. The question is how to release a place?

Everything is going well but after upgrade the maps with TomTom 2021.06 version, the navigation is not showing anymore the maximum speed at the current on road. Somebody knows why?
After I gone back to original Renault maps 2019.12 from "R-Link 2 Toolbox" the maximum speed sign is back at the navigation screen.

So last weekend I tried to patch my R-link2.....but:
I get the message that it is not possible to install an earlier software version?
I just downloaded the patch "mm2024_upgrade_igo_70241xx_patched.zip" from this thread (13nd oct 2019) and extracted it with winzip to the root of the USB (formatted FAT32) and put it in the car.
I have a software version: 7.0.24.166

What's wrong? Anyone have an idea??

Very strange but when looking for the last version using my VIN at Renaults site....it says VIN unknow?

Kind regards

Would there be any newer maps than the 2021 from the 1st page link available?
As far as i understand i need to be carful which data i use for this mod, so i dont want to break anything in my R-Link (but current maps would be great).
cheers

TMC - guys, is it possible to enable TMC for a country (I live in Poland) by including relevant files in the map update? Another thing is that the usability of TMC info in the age of google maps is questionable :tease:

Me replying to myself. Yes, this is possible. You need these files

Poland_MediamobileNordic.tmc
Poland_MediamobileNordic_1.0_110608.tmc
Poland_UNK_CE-Traffic_130523.tmc
