Renault Carminat TOMTOM

help. I have a Renault Megane with sat nav built into the dash (tomtom). It says no maps cannot be found. When I look closer there is not SD card in the slot. I think someone have stolen it. I am a Newbie how do I go about getting it back working ?

I have looked at all the related links for this. Can anyone explain how to get the device info from the device. I have tried all sorts (holding info button down etc) HELP HELP !!

What was wrong with the instructions Tendriver gave you here ??

ok downunder35m i did follow this but i didnt reconise anything on the card. Its a new card. But I am stuggling with the 'device info' I cannot get it off the in-car unit. HELP

anyone know ?

Take an empty sd card do format it as FAT32 .
Put the card in your tomtom and start it up.
Let the system turned on for 5 min .
At that time data is written to the card.
Remove the card and plug it into the computer .
As well there is now a folder on loopdir .

To get the card for Carminat TomTom can put together I have specific system data.

Take the card out of the tomtom via the menu system .

Ensure that you have installed . TomTom Home on Computer

( 1 ) One Stop SD card into the computer and it starts in TomTom Home .
Tomtom home checked for update and cancel it .
( 2 ) It then goes to Help links in the navigation bar , and then System Information .
( 3 ) Now you will see the system data a screen.
( 4 ) From this screen, make me a copy of the clipboard .
If you click on clipboard nothing happens , it should open wordpad and then click Paste . ( Right mouse button) .
Now, the clipboard visible.
