Help with Carminat TomTom 9.844

Hello,

I´ve already checked lot´s of topic and foruns but still have the same doubt, is it possible to patch Carminat Live 9.844 or not?
In some foruns people say they have already done it, but in others they say it´s not possible.
I want to put the latest Portugal version on my car.

The claims are there but so far I have not seen any definite proof or at least proper user feedback for this here.
