Carminat with no SD Card

Hi

I have use of a renault senic hire car for two to three months however the hire company does not supply the sd card. Is there any way I can format a new SD card with all the info needed to make the system work?

two days of trying and searching and i'm running out of ideas!!!

The Navcores and maps are available with no problem.
There are tutorials on how to patch the Carminat Navcore and that should work for a bank SD card as well.
But since the device is built into the car I don't really understand why they don't secure the SD instead of rendering the whole system useless by removing it.

As far as the hire companys I agree the device is in the car anyway so why not have the SD card installed I assume it's in case its lost but I would of thought they would simply charge you for any loss as they do for Damage, I've been told all companys are the same....
