I have created two little scripts to "hide" files on your Tomtom.
The purpose is to be safe if you are in country where the use of speed cam files is illegal - like Switzerland.

Unpack the files to the root of your device (or SD card).

In the current configuration it won't work!!
You have to make some changes :
Edit the files move and move2 with a Unix Editor like Notepad++ and change ...

Tomtom rebooting problems

Here i have used 8.412 Basicpack as an example but you replace with what ever navcore version you want , If you are using a 64mb device use a .cab file or if you are using a 32mb device use the Basicpack if available. Remember to check your bootloader first if you got a v1 Bootloader please do not upgrade the "system" file as this is your bootloader file and it could make your device ...

If you have a Tomtom with the bootloader version number starting with 1.xxx instead of 5.xxx you have a special system and should never attempt to change your bootloader! (exception: bootloader 1.0012 is OK for updating.)

It is most likely that you have a special Navcore version as well - 8.041
