Integrate .UNL to .IMG

This is my tiny tool for users who want integrate .UNL file to .IMG file.

you need .IMG file and .UNL file eg.

gmapsupp.img & gmapsupp.unl (always same file names)

Notes:

• be sure .unl contain correct unlock codes (tested and works)
• run this tool unl2img.exe same directory and it add your unlock codes to image.
• .unl file can contain multiple codes same time up to 20

now you can use image ...

First, if you have the App installed in your iPhone, please remove it.


Second, on your computer, go to Control panel and select, 'Folder Options'
Select, 'Do not show hidden files and folders'
and remove the 'Hide extensions for known file types'





Open iTunes and navigate to the applications folder. Locate your TomTom App. Back up this file before proceeding.
Right Click the App and select 'Show in Windows ...

Got it working!!! TomTom Start upgraded to full NavCore 9 with sound working. :thumbup:

My Tomtom Start was from New Zealand, purchased around Oct 2010. Started as: App: 8.544 (1836/091016) OS: 367764 64MB RAM, GPS: v1.20, Boot: 5.5238

Alternative way some devices (all device, use some similar way):
For the newer models (e.g. Nuvi)

• Turn on your Garmin GPS.
• Select Tools > Settings > System > About
• Write down the ten (10) digit Unit ID

For older models (e.g. GPSMAP 60)

• Under Main Menu select Setup
• Under Setup select System
• Select Menu button on GPS
• Select Software Version
• Write down ...
